Dieu du ciel! will be closed on June 24th, and July 1st.  

For the first time since its opening, Dieu du Ciel! will participate this summer to the Vermont Brewers Festival in Burlington (Vermont, USA) where we will present our beers for tasting to the numerous visitors at this exciting event. We are all the more honoured to be part of this Festival because it is usually reserved to the Vermont microbreweries and to breweries that have received a special invitation from the Festival committee.

The Festival will take place on July 18th and 19th, 2008, at the Waterfront Park, in Burlington, on the banks of Lake Champlain.

We will not be the only Quebec microbrewery present at the event, since ours friends from Hopfenstark will also be a part of the festivities.

Just like each year, Dieu du Ciel! will have a stand at the “Mondial de la bière” (May 28th to June 1st, 2008)

To keep the ball rolling after the closing time of Mondial, Dieu du Ciel will organize two events hosted by personalities from the world of beer, at their Montreal pub.

Thursday, May 29th
Sam Calagione, master brewer and owner of the Dogfish Head microbrewery, will present a few short films and anti-ads he made. (10h30 p.m. at Dieu du Ciel! brewpub)

Friday, may 30th
DJ Stockbizzy, a regular at the Mondial, is an unconditional beer lover, and author of a column about music in “Ale Street News”. This year, on top of serving us good music at the Mondial, this New Yorker will introduce us to his musical atmosphere at Dieu du Ciel!, from 9h p.m. to 2h a.m.

On Wednesday February 27, the Spuyten Duyvil bar (www.spuytenduyvilnyc.com/main.htm), located in Brooklyn, N.Y., will host the draft beers of Dieu du ciel! and those of our good friends from Hopfenstark (also known as "Ho*sT").

For the occasion, 4 Dieu du Ciel! beers (Péché Mortel, Aphrodisiaque, Rigor Mortis Blond and, on cask, Corpus Christi) and 3 Ho*sT beers (Saison 55, Kamarad Friedrich, Ostalgia blonde) will occupy all the draft lines of this famous New York bar, specialized in imported and American microbrewry beers.

If you're around that day, come say hello, we'll be there!  

Finally, our St-Jérôme pub (located in the same building as our new microbrewery) will open on February 1st.

At first, 8 beers will be offered on draught: Paienne, Fumisterie, Déesse nocturne, Rosée d'hibiscus, Dernière Volonté, Route des épices, Corne du diable, et Péché Mortel, bien sûr!

Also, light snacks will be available: pizzas, nachos, chips…
