Dieu du Ciel! Montréal is currently looking for someone to join their administrative team!

The pub manager is present on the floor and ensures the coordination of the bar. They make sure that the service that is offered in the pub meets DDC! expectations and standards. They continuously communicate with the waiters and cooks in order to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently during busy periods.

The manager has excellent team spirit. They keep their skills up to date and are keen to share their knowledge of the brewing industry and service competencies. They help the waiters during busy periods. They are ready to take on new challenges and to adapt to change.

They actively participate in the growth of DDC! We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated initiative and good organizational skills. This person has the ability to make decisions easily and to enforce them. The candidate must also be able to manage stress effectively in order to adequately respond to unforeseen events (such as reservations, scheduling conflicts, waiters who call in sick, etc.)

The manager will actively participate in interviewing, hiring, and terminating employees. They will be responsible for training, integrating and following up with new waiters.

Working conditions and work requirements

Secondary School Diploma (SSD) in general education

Years of relevant experience:
3 – 5 years of experience

Skills required:
– Proficiency in Word and Excel
– Very good knowledge of the brewing industry
– Knowledge of Maitre’D software an asset
– Organisation, ambition, rigour, good judgment.

Required languages :
Spoken and written languages: French and English

Number of hours per week:
30-40 hours

Various conditions:
Scheduled Wednesday to Sunday, between 2 – 3 shifts (approx. 15-20 hours), floor and administration (15-20 hours). Tips during shifts.

Employment status :
Permanent, full time, days, evenings, weekends.
